Step Into The Darkroom

Hi, I’m Anisa Zafer.

My artwork focuses on creating conceptual photography that combines the simplicity of the human form with the beauty of natural landscapes. I focus on themes that help me develop a story. I finally found my voice as a photographer, and intend to do everything in my power to keep analog photography alive.

With a simple snap of my camera’s shutter I can express my emotions, thoughts, and fears without needing any words, only imagery.

My medium of choice is black and white film. I love being in the darkroom, where I have made an effort to learn the techniques necessary to develop film and print images.

My work speaks for itself.

Below is a link to my recent darkroom projects, crafted with care and designed to make an impact. Each series tells a story of observation, creativity, and discovery.

Take a detailed look into my darkroom practice, where my appetite for creating black and white photography has become a playful obsession.
